I’ve compiled a list for you below of my 13 TOP home workout plan products and resources (in no particular order) to share with you the key elements that have helped me be successful in my personal health routine.

1. Energize
This pre-workout is the clean boost of energy I need to wake me up for my early morning workouts and to help me maximize the effort I put in (which allows me to burn the most amount of calories and fat with each exercise).
All-natural. Plant-based. No artificial anything!
There is a low dose of caffeine from green tea leaf and coffee bean and it’s available in a couple different flavors: lemon (my absolute fav!), mixed berry, or fruit punch.

2. Headbands
Probably not what you’d expect to see on a list like this, right? But these headbands are my biggest addiction right now! With SO many fun patterns and gorgeous colors, it’s hard to resist adding more and more to my collection!
They stay put, keep the sweat out of my eyes, and are so dang cute! I often wear these out and about when I’m not even working out!

3. Recover
If you were to go and workout super hard for several days in a row (as you would if you were trying to get in the best shape possible), you’d probably be super sore, right?
And what do we usually do after these killer workouts when our bodies feel like we are 50 years older than we are and it hurts to climb the stairs or sit down on the toilet? We sit out, we take a break, and we let the soreness pass before we hit it hard again, right?!
That’s where this magic stuff steps in and changes the game!! I drink (or eat) Recover within 30 minutes of all my hard workouts and it repairs the muscle fibers and reduces muscle fatigue and soreness like a BOSS!
It allows me to push harder in my home workout plan and show up every day, without feeling the need to sit it out.
You’d be amazed at how big of a difference this makes in overall results!
You can make this in two different ways. Mix with water and drink it as a shake OR stir with a little water in a bowl and eat it with a spoon like brownie batter that doesn’t stand a chance at making it to the oven because it’s SO. DANG. DELISH!

4. GoMoYo shaker bottles
Go Motivate Yourself shaker bottles are an everyday must-have for me! I use them for my performance supplements, Shakeology, and my water bottle, so I use 3 or 4 of these bottles daily!
I came across these about a year ago and have yet to find any alternative as affordable or that I love as much as these! They come in all different sizes, colors, and styles and they are leak-proof, lightweight, and portable!
The motivational messages on these bottles make them both unique and inspiring. And they make really great gifts, too!!

5. Shakeology
I use to ASSUME that Shakeology was the same as all the other protein and meal replacement shakes on the market…full of JUNK and a total waste of money!!
I pushed back and pushed back while people I trusted were telling me to take an honest look at the ingredient list for myself, so finally I did. And I couldn’t believe it!! I was so pleasantly surprised about what was IN Shakeology, but I figured it must taste terrible…
Nope! I was WRONG AGAIN! I blended it up and it was like a guilt-free milkshake!!
Over the past 6+ years, I have integrated Shakeology into my home workout plan and it has been THE game changer for me with my nutrition!
I drink one just about every single day and it keeps the sugar cravings away (my biggest struggle) and keeps my metabolism firing!

6. Beachbody on Demand
I think this transformation photo of mine below speaks for itself. This right here, friends, is my own personal testimony of what’s possible with Beachbody on Demand and why I love it so much and recommend it to everyone I know.
I started a home workout plan for the convenience (it gets increasingly harder to get to the gym consistently once you have kids), but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d get significantly better results at home than I ever did at the gym!

Beachbody on Demand has completely transformed my body and the way that I approach food and exercise.
Does it cost a little money and require some sacrifices and a lot of hard work? ABSOLUTELY. Everything worth doing will cost us something, right? I’d invest 10X what I did to get these results and feel this great in my skin. Confidence goes with us EVERYWHERE we go, it’s priceless.

7. Meal Planning Containers
Failing to plan is planning to fail. This is OH SO TRUE when it comes to our nutrition and our weight loss goals.
Sundays are typically my meal planning days; I’ll cut up my fruits and veggies, cook my proteins and grains, and portion out some of my meals for the week ahead. Some foods are stored more efficiently in larger containers and portioned out when it’s time to eat, while I’ve found that other meals are best pre-portioned individually as you’ll see below.

8. Foam roller
I never knew how much I needed a foam roller before I bought one! In fact, just looking at them I really questioned how they could help people as much as they claimed that they did.
But boy do these WORK!!
My hips and my butt and back muscles in particular get soo tight from my home workout plan, and this foam roller helps to target, massage, and loosen all the muscles back up. It works really well on the legs, too.
If you’ve never used a foam roller before, you should know, it’s one of those “hurts so good” kind of experiences.

9. Asics
People ask me all the time what my favorite running/workout shoes are, and it’s hands down, Asics. I have sworn by this brand for the last 8 years since I first discovered them, trained and run 3 marathons in Asics, and I do my daily workouts in them as well.
Asics are super supportive and some of the most comfortable running shoes I’ve found. I actually have had several different styles and have absolutely loved them all. Because they offer so much support, I have appreciated that I’ve been able to wear the same pair of shoes for all of my workouts and not needed separate running and cross training shoes, which is often necessary with other brands. This has totally allowed me to justify the price; Asics are worth every penny!
And honestly, they have the cutest colors and patterns out there!

10. The Miracle Morning
I am not a natural morning person. I love my sleep and I use to have a terrible addiction to my snooze button. Sound familiar?
But I needed the morning hours. I needed the focus and the clarity and the productivity in that first part of my day. This book, The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod, has been one of the most impactful resources for me in transforming my lifestyle.
I’ve learned that if we want to get physically fit, we must get mentally fit, first. Conquering our mind and our thoughts is foundational to reaching our body and weight loss goals.
Reading The Miracle Morning sparked me to establish my own morning routine which has created the space I need in my schedule as a busy mom to spend consistent time investing in my faith and fitness every single day.
This book gave me a whole new perspective on waking up early and practical steps that even I, Miss Sleepyhead, could do to turn my mornings into the most productive part of my day. I have this book on Audible and have listened to it many times over; it’s been a crucial part of my success with my home workout plan.

11. Color Coded Containers
These little color-coded containers have taken my nutrition from total guesswork to actual science. They are an integral part of the meal plan I’ve followed for the last 5 years, and my success lives right inside of these seemingly tiny plastic bowls.
They may look small, but just about everyone who has used these will attest to the fact that it’s WAY more food than you anticipate. You definitely do NOT go hungry!! And if you’re someone like me who loves to eat, this is music to your ears!
No need to count calories or macros or points or anything like that! Simply following a plan using these portion containers as my guide, I fuel my body, master my nutrition, and get incredible results.

12. Lunchbox
As a mom of four kids, I am constantly on the go! In order to stay on track with my nutrition, I often need to plan ahead and pack snacks and meals with me when we are out and about. Having a well-insulated lunchbox is essential for this!
My absolute favorite one is my Arctic Zone Dual Compartment Insulated Lunch Tote! It’s so stinkin’ cute, it almost looks like a little purse! It also fits quite a lot of food and has a holder on the side for my shaker bottle-score!

13. Onion goggles
If you have sensitive eyes like I do, YOU NEED THESE! I honestly can’t hardly cut an onion without them. They make meal prep soo much easier (and way safer) for me!!
No more tears! These onion goggles don’t fog up when you’re using them either. Such a super great, affordable investment for the kitchen!
